The market that takes place every Tuesday in the beautiful town of Altea is a social event. Many tourists and locals come to “La Avenida de La Nucía” to see the various stalls with products that our land, the Costa Blanca, has to offer.
Here you can find spices, flowers, fresh fruit, salted fish, and local vegetables ready to cook typical Mediterranean dishes. The prices are interesting and the atmosphere is very good.
The beautiful bouquets of flowers and plants that the florists offer for a small price are also a joy to behold.
On the other hand, on the same day but in a different location, in the “Parking Basseta centre” we will find another side with many more things; shoes, all kinds of leather goods with leather bags and small purses, the classic straw hats that are already a part of Mediterranean fashion or the famous Sevillana dresses that many tourists buy to take home the most Spanish souvenir.
