The Moors and Christians Festival in Altea is held on the fourth weekend of September to honour the Santísimo Cristo del Sagrario and San Blas. Both images walk through the narrow streets of the town.
In addition, the event includes shows such as parades and performances by multiple bands and musical groups.
The pyrotechnic and musical shows turn Altea into an authentic festive stage. They coincide with the patron saint’s festivities.
